This all-day workshop is designed to provide a safe and welcoming learning environment for women who have little to no experience using chainsaws and would like to get more hands-on instruction and practice. We will discuss personal protection equipment (PPE), chainsaw maintenance and training in basic chainsaw use and safety. This workshop is geared toward women, however, all are welcome!
We will give instruction in cutting techniques:
- how to get out of common binds
- limbing
- bucking
- basic small-medium diameter felling
