This summit brings forest health experts together to cover some of the most important pest issues impacting NC forests. Join our 6 speakers on their variety of topics, including an overview of the health of NC Forests from Heather Moonier (NC Forest Service), pine tip moth issues an management by Dr. Elizabeth McCarty (Univ. of Georgia), forest pathology issues in NC by Dr. Simone Lim-Hing (NC State University), hemlock woolly adelgid and white pine decline by Dr. Bud Mayfield (US Forest Service), urban tree health issues by Dr. Barb Fair (NC State University), and invasive forest insects by Dr. Kelly Oten (NC State University).
