Please join us in welcoming Jameson Boone to the NC State Extension Forestry team!

Jameson is our newest Extension Specialist of Forestry with the official title of Forest Management Specialist. To contact Jameson, email him at jdboone3@ncsu.edu or call his office at 919-515-9563.

Before joining NC State Extension, Jameson was a service forester with the NC Forest Service for six years, providing technical assistance to landowners. Jameson graduated from NC State University with a B.S. in Forest Management in 2015 and an M.S. in Forestry in 2017. Jameson is a registered forester with the State of North Carolina. In his Extension role, Jameson hopes to provide forestry knowledge and resources to help landowners make informed decisions that meet their needs while improving their forest resources.

We are excited to have yet another knowledgeable addition to our team! Please welcome him to the College of Natural Resources and keep an eye out for his work as he joins our outreach efforts.
