This workshop will cover the Project Learning Tree K-8 Activity Guide. Please bring your lunch and come prepared for activities inside and outside.
Join other K-8 classroom and non-formal educators as we explore activities in the Project Learning Tree K-8 Curriculum Guide! Every participant will leave the workshop with the PLT K-8 Activity Guide which includes 96 activities. CEU renewal credits are available. This workshop qualifies for Criteria I in the EE Certification Program.
The PreK-8 guide is correlated to the Common Core (math and ELA) as well as to the NC Essential Standards (science and social studies).Participants will learn about the materials through direct engagement in the PLT activities throughout the workshop.
The PLT Activity Guide (a $25 value!) is provided at no cost to workshop participants through partnership with NC Forestry Association, however, pre-registration and payment of the workshop registration fee is required.Please make a personal commitment to attend to ensure there are enough materials and space for everyone. If you must cancel, please do so in a timely manner so someone else may take your place in the workshop. Please bring your lunch!
Cancellations made by February 24th will receive a $10 refund.Cancellations after February 24th will not be refunded the workshop fee.
