- Sustainable Forestry and Land Retention Project

The Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) is a voluntary conservation program for private landowners. it is one of the largest private-lands conservation programs in the United States.
The program offers financial and technical assistance for the establishment and management of permanent vegetation to stabilize soil, improve water quality and improve wildlife habitat. The program seeks to remove highly erodible cropland from production and improve habitat for declining wildlife species on cropland and pastureland.
