About the Webinar
Asian longhorned beetle (ALB) is a beetle that is native to eastern Asia but has been found in six states in the United States since the 1990s. This invasive beetle is known to infest and damage a wide variety of native and planted tree genera and species, such as maple (Acer spp.), birch (Betula spp.), and poplar (Populus spp.). It is a threat to the health of forests across Pennsylvania and the Eastern United States. In this session, participants will learn about ALB biology, prevention, and management from Abby Ratcliff, an Extension Assistant at North Carolina State University.
