An informational and networking meeting for the NC forest and wood products industry hosted at McDowell Tech Co CC at Marion, NC on Nov 20.
About this Event
The US Forest Service has awarded NCSU Wood Products Extension a grant to work with the NC primary and secondary in North Carolina from now into 2022. Working with NCSU WPE is the NCFS and West65thInc on this project that has its goal to grow sales, profitability, and employment. We are hosting in Fall 2019 three regional meetings to announce the project and to provide a networking event for the forest and wood products industry.
This project in the primary forest products industry involves landowners, foresters, loggers, mills, equipment dealers and manufacturers, etc.
This project in the secondary wood products industry involves the production, distribution and retail sales of lumber, plywood, panels, firewood, cabinets, furniture and millwork.
