Join nonformal and classroom educators as well as natural resource professionals to explore Project Learning Tree activities with a focus on FIRE. Workshop facilitators will be using the lens of wild and prescribed fire in activity presentations from the Explore Your Environment K-8 Activity Guide and the secondary module, Focus on Forests. Every participant will leave the workshop with a copy of both guides; a $55 value! Criteria I & II in the EE Certification Program (K-12) and CEU credits will be available. We are also seeking CFE credits for registered foresters.

The PLT activity guides are provided free of charge to participants through support from the NC Forestry Association. All participants are asked to bring a bag lunch and prepare to be inside and outdoors throughout the day.
