Owning your forest is fun. Managing your forest is a blast. Knowing how to accomplish that goal can be a bit of a challenge, though. No problem. NC Extension is here to help by taking you on a field tour that highlights many of the practices you can employ to make your forest the best it can be. Join us for a forestry field tour in Rowan County on March 14th. We will showcase practices such as site preparation, tree planting, thinning, and prescribed burning. 

Lunch and transportation during the field tour will be provided, and the field tour will conclude at 3:30.
